The Indianapolis affiliate of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) has selected ChapterManager, the online association management web site and software suite, to provide its members with new services and communication opportunities, and to provide aministrators with an efficient, long-term method to manage memberships, events and other association records. The group's site will launch later this spring.
NAPM-Indianapolis is joining other organizations across the United States and in Canada that use ChapterManager to automate the administrative and record-keeping responsibilities associated with volunteer-managed groups affiliated with a national organization.
ChapterManager web sites, produced by The NewLinear Group, facilitate all aspects of affiliate operation, including memberships (new and renewals), event registration, publicity, chapter news and communication. The system allows groups to accept online payments via credit card, P-card or check, and stores transactions and member records in the back office area of the site.
Groups that hold trade shows, reverse trade shows, multi-day and complex-priced events can use the Event Manager module to manage these large events and control inventory, sell sponsorships, exhibits booths, program advertisements and an unlimited number of upsell options.
